Festival Scoop 2010
The Scoop Journalism Festival will be taking place in Angers from November 15 to 28, 2010 under the direction of Alain Lebouc. Its particularity stems from its unusual blend of photography, documentary and news videos. This year, the Festival will be presenting 20 photographic exhibitions, including a Best Of retrospective set to travel the globe. For the past four years, Dominique Charlet has been bringing some of the most incredible stories to Angers, providing spectators this year with a selection including the fighting in Bangkok (Agnès Dherbeys), the earthquake in Haiti (Nadav Neuhaus), the oil spill in Mexico (Charlie Varley) or the riots in Athens (Maro Kouri)… After this year’s edition, the Festival will leave Angers, and will perhaps move on to Lille, although financing has yet to be cleared.
