La Thaïlande d'Agnès Dherbeys
Thai society has flourished over the past few decades, but the economic burst has only hidden the fractures that have remained. The Thai people have lost faith in their government institutions, and have turned to fighting amongst themselves. That fracture exploded in the Spring of 2010 when, for more than two months, the people of Bangkok, the “Redshirts” revolted against their government. Despite the bloody street battles and countless deaths, the government has remained in place. What was most shocking to Agnes Dherbeys was the hatred among the Thai people themselves, revealing the source of this bloody reality.
