Copenhagen was in 2009 concidered the 2nd most livable city in the world according to Tyler Brûlé and his magazine Monocle. And it´s in this very livable city that the new magazine The Rützou Chronicle is based.
The Chronicle has the same concept as for example Acne Paper – an editorial product financed by a fashion brand – in this case Danish label Rützou. Just as Acne Paper, The Chronicle have high intellectual and cultural ambitions with lots of references to the fine arts. But as opposed to it´s forerunner The Chronicle doesn´t contain any fashion. In the very well designed pages you will instead find a porfolio of young photography curated by Greger Ulf Nilson who runs GUN Gallery in Stockholm, another portfolio by American photographer Arthur Meehan, a tribute to Louise Bourgeois and a beautiful portrait of the trendy Parisian restaurant Derrière.
