I am a bit of a fetishist about pictures. I am a collector who likes to gather, and own. As such, I have a wide selection of pictures, especially of nudes from the 19th and 20th centuries. I have a preference for pictures of 19th century nudes. The nudes are magnificent, the women voluptuous, the techniques and the paper are unlike anything that was produced after 1900. But some of the 20th century’s master photographers also capture that beauty. Their origins are diverse, often from exchanges with collectors, or individuals who ask me to appraise their pictures and wind up selling them to me.
