HCB 2011 Prize
The International Henri Cartier-Bresson Prize (HCB) is for photographers of all ages and nationalities having already built a body of work with an approach close to reportage. It offers a 30,000 euros prize and is awarded every two years.
Eighteen months later, the winner’s work is exhibited at the HCB Foundation of Paris with an accompanying catalog. The winner must use the prize money towards the completion of his project, otherwise impossible without proper financing.
Candidates must be represented by an institution that submits their entry. For more information:

Leica Oskar Barnack 2011 Prize
The Leica Oskar Barnack prize is an international competition for professional photographers. Prize packages have increased for 2011. Winners will receive €5000 and a Leica M9 worth €9500.
The Newcomer (under 25 years old) prizewinner will receive a Leica M9.
Participants must send their entries prior to March 1, 2011 with pictures about man and his environment. An international jury will select the winner.

“Voies Off” Prize 2011
Presented for 16 years during the Rencontres d’Arles, the “Voies Off” grant worth €2500 reveal young talents including Antoine d’Agata. It is selected by a jury of professionals.
