Until March 26, 2011, the Karsten Greve Gallery in Paris will display recent work by photographer Lynn Davis. Known worldwide since the 1970s for her famous black and white landscapes, often in large format, Lynn Davis’ current work focuses on a major project that she has been developing for a number of years on the theme of water. This project includes photographs of the series “Waterfalls”, taken recently in Brazil and in Argentina. The Parisian exhibition will allow one to discover around twenty pictures in large format.
Lynn Davis will be present at the gallery on Saturday March 12th 2011 from 4pm until 6pm, and will be signing her last book “Persia”, the 2006 Exhibition Catalog in Karsten Greve and “Sacred Landscapes: The Threshold Between Worlds,” a 256 page book published in October 2010 with Sterling, including text by A.T. Mann, in which Celtic megalithics and Machu Picchu sanctuaries are portrayed.
