Moran Atias’ legs open Michel Philippot’s Press Review, then continues with pictures in Syria by Muhammad Hamet (The Observer) featuring a
woman brandishing a poster addressed to President Bashar al Assad: “Go”.
Philippot then covers Barack Obama’s visit to Europe, visiting a pub, a glass of Guiness in his hand.
The subsequent news stories are less amusing, with a focus on the weather disaster in Missouri where a tornade leveled the city of Joplin, the beginning of the Dominique Strauss-Kahn investigation.
The last images concern the demonstration by the collective ‘les "indignés’ ", protesting via the social networks against the latest austerity measures decided under the pressure from the country’s creditors. A call was sent to gather in the place Syntagma, in front of the Parliament, in the center of Athens.
