The Society of Ventes Volontaires Beaussant Lefèvre will be putting together this Wednesday, June 8th 2011 at Drouot Richelieu, room 7, an ensemble of photography from the 19th century.

Under the title “Retinal Persistances” are 172 lots regrouped coming from the Pierre-Marc Richard collection. An untiring researcher, he went all around to antique fairs and sales to find unique documents that today constitute a veritable patrimony and have made an obvious expert. We will find in this sale prints that are not necessarily known by celebrated photographers and lesser knowns.
