As summer is the season in this part of the hemisphere, we begin this month’s fashion press review on a roadtrip. What better way to get away from it all then hopping in the car and heading for some unknown destinations. Tim Barber shoots a very natural, almost documentary-esque story for Muse’s current issue, with Australian model Bambi Northwood-Blyth.

In Belgium, the Flemish edition of ELLE offers a bit of irony after our above mentioned roadtrip, in a fashion story for their July issue by Kris de Smedt. On a beach, in a phone booth, in Gucci, what else?

For the current issue of Self Service, the multi-talented Alasdair McLellan shoots Lara Stone, top model “du moment”, in this classic yet odd portrait of the blond beauty.

Steven Meisel photographs three grand beauties for the Italian edition of Vogue, taking on a polemic issue not only in Italy, but in the world over. Discussions aside, it is a striking feature that made their cover too.

Blue skies abound in Russian ELLE’s feature on the top model and activist Angela Lindvall, photographed by Åsa Tällgård for their June issue.

And to end our roadtrip, we find ourselves on a beach again, somewhere, where Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton decided to drop us off in another little feature for Muse.
