No other instances of truth should be needed than a perfect image. As Plato myth of the cavern implies, the closest we can ever come to the truth is via its light and shadows. That is exactly what a camera captures.

If you know Star Trek, you will remember that the Prime Directive dictates that there can no interference with the internal development of alien civilizations.This week’s website from Prime Collective is from a recently created cooperative of seasoned American photographers who apparently follow this directive. Far from being a boring search and find database of used images, it is more like a rich magazine, full of discovery and great visual moments. Obviously, it is all about the photographers, six of them in total, and their portfolios. But its not a desperate scream for work. Rather it is an educated journey into their creative world, delicately introduce via the broad range of their reach.
