Philippe Bernard, this 37-year old sculptor, recently moved to Paris. “Light is essential to my work. Since 2008, I have stopped retouching my pictures, focusing on the photo shoot. In my new series, Capsules, light comes from darkness. Dense and profound. It defines and inhabits its own space. Here, light is both the envelope and the contents. It is the body and the soul.”
