This series comes from a photography diary that I have been keeping since I arrived in Montreal with my wife and our one year old daughter in April 2010.

I wanted to learn photography by making poetry of the city and distance, my night job at the emergency room - I'm a nurse - allowed me to spend part of my day working.

The series title Early one Sunday morning was inspired by Edward Hopper. It is a testimony of the fluidity of the constantly changing city, as it dies and is reborn.
