This week’s program will be particularly busy for photo professionals and avid shutterbugs. Among the photographic activities scheduled for the end of the week is the new Contemporary Art Fair: Nofound Photofair. The team of artistic directors, Emeric Glayse and Yann Perol, will welcome the public from November 11 to 14 in the sprawling Garage Turenne, 1400m2 in the heart of Paris’ Marais district. The 36 international galleries present will show unique projects and original works through exhibitions and installations. Nofound Photofair’s primary objective is to create an event that will highlight the links between photography and contemporary art, and to evoke the emerging artistic scene.
Contemporary art galleries have an abundance of artists working with photography. Not photographers, but painters, sculptors, performers… who include photography in their work. Nofound Photography wants to provide a photographic outlet for these contemporary methods.
