Some time ago, Agathe Gaillard told me that the word, seen from her chair, hidden in a pleasant obscurity, looks like a theatre stage.

Those words were the inspiration for this series that I called "Inside Agathe G." which I later turned - with her gallant accord - into a little book that pretends to be the portrait of her famous gallery.

My name is Dan Hayon. I'm a 65 five year old Romanian living in Paris. After completing my studies at the Bucharest's Art Academy in the late sixties, I left Romania and practically stoped taking pictures. Later, much later, encouraged by Frank Horvat, I started again.
