Bob McNeely is from now on "L'Oeil de La Lettre" in New York. Bob was the White House photographer during Bill Clinton presidency. The evening of January 5, 2012 at the Yancey Richardson Gallery was the opening of a show of the work of Dutch photographer Bertien van Manen. The show was titled Lets sit down before we go from a monograph of the same name, and was the fourth exhibition of her work at Yancey Richardson. The photographs were from her travels through Russia and the former Soviet Republics since 1990. Van Manen captures moments of intimacy and quiet reflection as well as quirky and slightly off-beat groups and juxtapositions.
