Patrice Bellot (b. 1972 in Marseille) lives in South of France and has worked with digital and analog photography for years. His first book, made with untouched photos shot with different versions of the iPhone, is published by GLC-Editions. Taken across Europe between 2010 and 2011, the 146 images are spontaneous, simple, enigmatic: a man looks at the sea, a little girl plays in a cemetery, a white cloud passes overhead, a road stretches into the night, a book lies on a museum guard's chair. These are photos whose only pretense is the desire to capture the chance daily encounters .
