i-D magazine is taking ”The Year of the Dragon” by storm and lending their February cover to Chinese superstar photographer Chen Man. Man has produced no less than twelve different covers celebrating the diversity of beauty in China today.

Chen Man was born in 1980 in Beijing where she studied graphic design at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. She gained recognition only 23 years old, when she shot the cover for Chinese design and arts magazine Vision. Today she is the star of fashion photography in China working for Vogue, Elle and Harper’s Bazaar.

Chen Man has a solo exhibition running at Museum of Contemporary Art in Shanghai until the 7th of February.
