Gaïa Donzet has joined Carmignac Gestion as Director of the Fondation , following her successful launches of the Tornabuoni Art gallery in Paris and the Bonham’s auction house. Nathalie Gallon will remain in charge of the collection and of the Prix Carmignac Gestion photojournalism award.
Founded in 2000, the Fondation Carmignac Gestion was initially constituded with works from the Pop Art movement and the German School. Today the celebrated Fondation Carmignac Gestion collection brings together almost 200 works, including major pieces by Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Roy Lichtenstein, Gerhard Richter, Andreas Gursky, Keith Haring and Martial Raysse. On display at the Carmignac Gestion headquarters in Paris and throughout its European offices, the works represent a unifying force for the the company’s teams, serving as a source of energy and inspiration.
