On Monday April 2nd in Los Angeles the Getty Museum opened Herb Ritts:LA Style, a retrospective of work in fashion, portraiture, and nude studies, that the Getty makes the following statement about: “He revolutionized fashion photography, modernized the nude, and transformed celebrities into icons.”
I will leave that judgement up to the individual viewer but the reception Monday evening definitely was an expression of LA Style.
