Opening on Thursday evening at the Yossi Milo Gallery in Chelsea, was the first solo exhibition of Tim Hetherington’s work since his tragic death in Libya last year. It has only become more apparent over the last year, as we contemplate that this enormous talent will be no longer be exploring the themes that had engaged him, what a loss this is to us all. His ability to connect to the people involved in conflict, whether soldier, civilian, rebel or victim, and communicate who they were and how they were affected by conflict was remarkable. This exhibit is a wonderful representation of his work and I recommend it highly.
