JR recently completed the third part of his work, Wrinkles of the city, as part of the 11th Havana Biennial 2012. The work a collaboration with the artist José Parlà, opened on May 13, the installation combines JR’s monumental photographs with the urban calligraphy of Parlà, displaying beautiful images across the city. Both artists offer us a vibrant story of our time, with wrinkled faces and faded walls, all written in a contemporary urban style.
