Under the expertise of Antoine Romand, the Société de ventes volontaires Gros & Delettrez will be holding an auction on Tuesday, June 19 at 2pm in Salle 9 of the Hôtel Drouot, of Books, Manuscripts, and Orientalist Photography for lots 143 to 242 of the catalogue.
Among those featuring photography, we noticed N°172, an album (printed by Blanquart-Evrard) with 45 salt paper prints from paper negatives of which 28 were taken by Maxime du Camp (Thèbes, Karnak, Nubie…) and 17 by Auguste Salzmann (Jerusalem, 1854).
