Photographer Joëlle Dollé draws our attention to vegetables and our link to nature through a hundred pictures of well known and unknown personalities, all holding a vegetable in their hands. Each photograph comes with a short text detailing the history of the pictured vegetables.
The goal? To rediscover the pleasure in our way of seeing our everyday life and the simplicity of our relationship with nature. These photos challenge our senses and are intended for everyone.
Joëlle Dollé developed this portrait series in her studio over the course of four years with the help of friends, family and later with celebrities involved with vegetable gardening and other environmental causes. We can see in these compositions a few references to painting and pop culture.
