For the third year in a row, the PMU is inviting photographers to illustrate the French world of games and gambling. In 2010, the job was given to Malik Nejmi and in 2011 to Mohamed Bourouissa .
In 2012, PMU partnered with the Paris gallery Le BAL to launch a call for applications with “Carte Blanche PMU”.

They are looking for a contemporary project that follows these guidelines: “The PMU is a French company that operates several gambling venues online and offline, from horses to poker. PMU mixes tradition and modernity with more than 11,000 locations in cities across France, where it provides places for locals to meet and strengthen social bonds.” 

The winner will receive a grant of 20,000€ to produce the project, which will be exhibited at Le BAL in the of Spring 2013 and published by Éditiosn Filigranes. The application deadline is set for August 16, 2012.
