Large format works and projections by the renowned German-Czech photographic duo René & Radka will be featured on the Passerelle de l'Appartement de Mode on the 1st floor of the Bon Marché Rive Gauche from June 30 through September 1, 2012.
The exhibition title "Beyond Wind" evokes the duo’s fascination with air and wind that "gives form and movement to unidentified floating objects.” They are intrigued by the flighty and magical universe of these fantastic giants flying in bright skies. “Even if their new pictures show beaches, skies and horizons, they give the impression of having been taken under water.”
On one picture, a child realizes how big these delightful creatures actually are, “enormous toys transformed into objects adults obsessively admire.”
