The Kogan Gallery is hosting the first solo exhibition of the work of Léo Caillard. The artist studies the contradictions of our society in its relation to the image. Between the real and the virtual, between art and consumption, between the immediacy of the image and the immateriality of the real, we find the basis for a new use and perception of photography.

In the series Art Game, the Louvre is offering visitors tablet computers to replace the traditional audio guide. Images, sound and geolocalized maps are available on the same device. The digital revolution has broken free of desktop computers and is now tackling art and culture head-on.

Will this development draw the viewer and the artwork closer together? Or will it push them farther apart?
