A photography magazine that doesn't just cover new camera equipment is rather difficult to find in France, apart from a few bastions like Photo, Images Magazine and De l'Air. So the arrival of a new bimonthly magazine dedicated to contemporary photography should be cause for celebration. The efficiently titled "Photographe" was launched last month. With a cover price of 6.95€ and a large selection from the world of contemporary international photography, the magazine offers artists a new medium of expression. Unfortunately, the cover of the magazine doesn't reflect its contents. At first glance, it bears no trace of what the reader will find inside, even on a theme as common as "the nude." And yet, the choices are especially rich, never falling into nude stereotypes that readers have come to dread. This issue of « Photographe « approaches the theme with a sense of direction, looking beyond mere beauty, sharing the vision of artists who are worlds apart.
