Bruno Bisang (1952) is one of Europe‘s leading photographer. After studying at the School of Applied Arts for Photography in Zurich he has gone on to work with all the major supermodels, magazines and fashion houses.
Bruno Bisang has been on a lifelong artistic quest to document the unending, multifaceted varieties of the feminine mystique. His photographs are more than mere idealizations of the female form. They are expressions of Bisang‘s desire to record the independent spirit of his subjects - international models and celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Carla Bruni, Tyra Banks, Victoria Beckham
and Monica Bellucci. This collection of exquisitely observed studies is a luminous distillation of essence and form, "a record of women‘s radiance“ that expresses Bisang‘s belief that "Every woman possesses a fount of femininity and unique sensuality“.
Today he lives and works in Milan, New York, Zurich and Paris. Bruno Bisang has created pictures in which he stages female beauty in perfection, for such world renowned magazines as Vogue, Amica, GQ, L’Officiel, Cosmopolitan and for clients like Cartier, Chanel, Chopard or Wolford.
