For Cyril Duchêne, 24, each generation has its trinkets, and those trinkets are part of our cultural heritage. With a sociological approach, Duchêne photographed the trinkets and their owners, giving insight into their personalities. This required a certain level of intimacy, so Duchêne used three generations of women from his own family. The Icart Photo jury appreciated the sensitivity and humanity of Duchêne’s work, and awarded the series its Jury Prize.
