Born in London in 1938, Terry O’Neill is one of the great portrait photographers of his generation. From his portrait of Faye Dunaway, taken the day after she won the Oscar , looking blasé and alone,at the poolside of the Beverly Hills Hotel, to Brigitte Bardot, the wind in her hair, a thin cigar on her lips, or even David Bowie at the height of his glam period, holding back a dog on a leash as it lunges at the photographer.

The gallery is presenting O’Neill’s most famous images, but also a few neglected ones: Romy Schneider, Steve McQueen at home, the Rolling Stones in the early sixities, Kate Moss in the nineties, not to mention these unrelease images of Sean Connery as James Bond at the height of his powers.

Snapshots is the first solo exhibition for O’Neill in Paris. It’s the perfect opportunity to honor and take measure of this gentleman photographer’s 50-year career.
