At stand number 613, the Yancey Richardson Gallery is exhibiting an eclectic mix of photographs: black-and-white portraits by South African Zanele Muholi, a self-proclaimed political artist who looks at his country’s lesbian and gay communities and risks her life with this project; still lifes by Sharon Core; and landscapes by Olivo Barbieri. For Muholi, the Armory Show coincides with an exhibition of his own in the gallery.
