Harry Matenaer is not a young photographer, he is a photographer. The kind I don’t know very well: those who know how to disappear, completely forgotten by their subjects. But you see, he is not a reporter. He doesn’t have the old school, in the field, approach.

The exposition on display at the “Botanique” of Brussels until the end of the year, “Khaldei, a photographer under Stalin”, features works from Mark Grosset’s (1957-2006) personal collection. Grosset was the son of Rapho agency’s founder and former Director.
