Following the exhibition Gilles Caron. Le conflit intérieur, which opened in early February and will continue until May 12, 2013, the catalog bearing the same title is now available.

Like the exhibition, this important book takes its structure from a study by Michel Poivert, which reveals new dimensions of the photographer’s work, providing insight into the evolution of Caron’s thoughts on his profession and photojournalism in general. The book is organized around six themes: heroism, introspection, the pain of others, revolt, the new wave, and the heavy conscience of the photographer.
