The exhibition Presque (déjà) mort presents the work of six artists: Michel le Belhomme, Éric Pougeau, Rodolphe Cintorino, Christine Boillat, Yasmine Blum, and Pédro.

For artistic director Aurélie Moins, the title of the exhibition—literally, “Almost (Already) Dead”—is a reference to a time when she was looking back on her career path. She saw everything that had nourished her had also somehow destroyed her. The exhibition brings together several artists whose works show both the thieves from without and the thieves from within.

The photographer Michel Le Belhomme will present his series La bête aveugle, which takes as its subject the partial or total destruction of shelter. Eric Pougeau’s snapshots of Arles—taken each night and printed the morning after— will also be on display.
The four other artists offer their own vision of this violence through drawing and installations evoking death and sexuality.
