Taschen will publish a limited edition book (995 copies) focusing on the topic of kimbaku, the art of Japanese bondage. Bondage devotee Araki has taken thousands of photos on the subject, and this 600-page book (240 x 290 mm) collecting his best shots comes in a 290 x 330 mm wooden box.

The first 150 copies are part of the “Art Edition,” with numbers 1 to 50, 51 to 100 and 101 to 150 coming in three different editions, each accompanied by a 240x290mm print hand-signed and numbered. Art Edition A (1 to 150) comes with an untitled 1990 photograph. Art Edition B (51 to 100), with an untitled 1992 photograph. Art Edition C (101 to 150) also comes with an untitled 1994 photograph. These limited Art Editions are available for 2500€.

The “Collector” editions are numbered 151 to 995, signed by Nobuyoshi Araki and available for 750€
