On the occasion of the Vincent Fournier exhibition Past Forward, the Acte2 galerie is presenting a selection of his recent work: Space Project, The Man Machine, Tour Operator, Brasilia and Post Natural History.
Fournier is a photographer whose work oscillates between the real and the fantastic. He takes his viewers on a colorful journey through space to an utopian, futuristic and fantastical world. Fournier helps viewers leave behind their earthly existence to experience a beautiful and intriguing other world.
Born in 1970 in Ouagadougou, Fournier grew up in France on the Brittany coast. After studying sociology and visual arts, he graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie in 1997. His work is represented by several galleries and is regularly shown at international art fairs. This year he will publish the books Brasilia (Éditions Be-Pôles) and Fast Forward. He is based in Paris.
